Wife: Mary, 39 Years Old
Daughter: Tiffany, 7 Years old
We relocated to the Tampa Bay area about nine months ago, closed our house in Maryland, rented a small home here in St.
Petersburg, and immediately got involved in American mission field work. My daughter goes to a local Christian school, my
amazing wife volunteers there during the day to complement our vision of missions in the local area with a personal love of
children she ministers to daily. Currently, we are developing a church launch proposal, strategy and plan after a clear and
evident call from God. In the mean time we are committed to the Young Adult Crisis Hotline we developed and founded several
years ago. Every day we are involved with networking and developing relationships with people to develop a launch team for
the Church plant in the Tampa Bay Area.
Life Objective and Vision Statement
My life objective is Reach the unreached with the Glorious Gospel of Grace. Teaching and discipling members of the Body
of Christ to realize their God give potential as believers in their new identity and high calling in Christ Jesus. Following
the Biblical model of fully establishing the church to reach the un-churched and the un-reached locally with global impact.
Life Mission Statement
My life mission Statement is to first serve my Lord Jesus Christ, then my family, His Church, my Community, and Society
as a Pastor through teaching and empowering individuals to glorify Jesus Christ through church planting. I love to serve those
who are hurting and love them just as they are where they are in life. Therefore, assisting individuals who have, because
of irrational thinking made poor choices, to begin eventually to think rationally again and maintain long-term recovery from
life controlling problems through new thinking that is from the rational expression of God’s Thoughts. One of my main
life objectives is to continue working with what I define as the most un-reached generation of our time - Young Adults. I
have a heart for the lost and un-churched would always want to have the ability to reach them through various methods of evangelism
and personally honor the Great Commission and Great Commandment everywhere from across the street to around the world. - 2 -

LUIS PALAU ASSOCIATION
March 17 – April 3, 2006
Luis Palau Orlando Festival
I traveled this month to Orlando, Florida to volunteer in the festival office for about fifteen days to help them prepare
for the upcoming festival and during the event. It was very enjoyable and fantastic experience to see this event put together
and see them reach a city of people with the Gospel of Grace. I learned a lot about the working with several diverse Christian
groups who laid aside their doctrinal differences for the purpose of the Gospel. This event was presented in cooperation with
over 650 area churches, dozens of business supporters and thousands of volunteers. I was very excited to be a volunteer with
such a dedicated and loving group of individuals.
YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY
2002-2003
PASTOR, FOUNDER, Towson, MD
This ministry was birthed from a vision to reach 18 to 28 year’s olds. I had a vision to reach the largest un-reached
generation in the surrounding community and in the surrounding church community. Teaching, discipleship, and counseling young
adults was the emphasis of this ministry. Reaching postmodern un-churched and the miserable at church young adults who had
a post Christian worldview. Growth and encouraging them to attend their local church was the emphasis of this particular ministry.
This ministry was uniquely run from out of our home’s basement that started with a handful and grew to over six hundred
young adults attending weekly at a local church facility from various local churches and always open for those who were postmodern
seekers or un-churched.
MARYLAND BIBLE COLLEGE AND SEMINARY
2001 – 2003
Instructor, Student Pastor and Mentor Baltimore, MD
While at Maryland Bible College and Seminary, I worked as an Instructor preparing future Pastors and Missionaries for work
in the ministry. As an instructor, I substituted on several occasions’ college level bible courses and taught these
courses regularly: Introduction to Counseling; Biblical Addiction Counseling, Crisis and Critical Counseling Issues, Discipleship,
and Young Adult Ministry Development. - 4 -
OVERCOME BY GRACE RECOVERY MINISTRIES
2000 - 2003
PASTOR, Facilitator Towson, MD
In depth Biblical counseling ministry that taught people to "Overcome by Grace". This ministry served the inner-city of
Baltimore, Maryland and the surrounding Counties to over 250 chemically dependent people weekly, which involve assisting individuals
who have been enslaved to the drug culture and their families. Our department was to oversee and develop an outreach to assist
people who had prolonged substance abuse problems. Using Critical Crisis Management with individuals and their families’
in the outpatient therapy program had overwhelming success. The Individualized approach to counseling, developing Spiritual
potential, and assisting them to discover their new identity in Christ was an essential emphasis of the program. This involved
transitioning them from out of irrational thinking and worldly environment into a several loving, caring local church families
in the City, which ministered to the needs of the soul and spirit, as well as to the body. On a case-to-case basis, it was
my responsibility was to oversee individuals and facilitate biblical group counseling sessions. I facilitated relapse prevention,
family support groups and early warning sign educational seminars for prevention. Topical discussion groups with trouble teens
in middle and high schools the area for community service projects .
ASSOCIATE-PASTOR
2000 - 2003 Baltimore, MD
For an inner city, church, on a daily basis, with a team of individuals operated as an associate-pastor and primarily assisted
the Senior Pastor. In all aspects of church ministry and administration, over 2,000 church members and thousands in over 180
countries. As an associate pastor I conducted private counseling sessions for our community and juvenile court system that
later developed into a large non profit that I transitioned founded and am currently the director the Young Adult Crisis Hotline.
MISSIONARY AFRICA
1998 - 2001
Pastoral Internship, Assistant pastor to the Director
For Three years, on the African mission field during my pastoral internship, I assisted and developed various aspects of
several church plant efforts by expanding our mission influence in strategic ministry planning and ground breaking evangelism
in over 17 countries. My personal duties were primarily training local leaders in the areas of church leadership, administration,
evangelism, critical counseling and discipleship. In training future pastors, I supported the director of the African missions
for my pastoral internship program and was extensively involved in fund-raising initiatives and the administrative operations
of various mission teams with in Africa. Some of these initiatives have - 5 -
resulted in a Biblical training facility in Kampala, Uganda and several church building projects in Ghana. During that
time, I also remained as the Assistant to the Director which enabled me to assist Strategic planting of several churches throughout
the continent of Africa with National pastors at the same time.
GRACE HOME MINISTRIES
1996 – 1998
FOUNDER, DIRECTOR, Baltimore, MD
In 1996, I founded and Grace Home Ministries Inc. which is a non-profit Christian organization that helps individuals who
have recently been delivered from life controlling problems to become responsible, productive and caring individuals through
its personal development and biblical discipleship program. I was able to be the acting Director of this program that ministered
to the spiritual, psychological and physical needs of its clients. This ministry served as a bridge between the streets and
the local church community by preparing and training the individuals to live drug free, Christ-centered lives. It facilitated
these goals by teaching its clients about addiction and presenting them the biblical alternative and solution to freedom based
upon "The Finished Work" of Jesus Christ and His principles. After founding this ministry in my senior year of Bible College
for my Church Ministry Practicum and taking an active role as director for two years placed this work into capable hands and
continued with my calling as a missionary to the Africa for my pastoral internship. This ministry is still active and working
on the Goal that I have founded several years ago and still produces fruit that still remains.
Ministry Experience Summary:
Throughout my ministry life, I have been responsible for these diverse aspects:
I helped in many aspects of a daily church operation by teaching; preaching; Biblical crisis counseling; Church planting
; hospital/home visitation; City-wide Outreach evangelism; leading/supporting team members; planning and developing evangelistic
strategies; assisted in diverse official duties and operated with the primary purpose of Glorifying God and edification of
the local church. As a pastor I’ve worked in different levels of church ministry: training leaders and future pastors
in the areas of church leadership; Church planting; Critical crisis counseling; Addiction counseling and discipleship as well
as serving the congregation in various ways such as conducting the church ordinances of communion and water baptism; also
conducted pastoral services such as weddings; funerals and baby dedications.
After working at a Church for several years, I had a privilege to have founded the Young Adults Ministry (Ages 18-25) and
was able to teach College level courses to Bible College students. In our nation’s cities, small towns and urban communities,
we are facing an escalating crisis with the continued growth of a generation of young people who often feel misunderstood
and neglected. Their value systems are developing by the polluted ethics, with little impact from positive adult relationships.
In the midst of - 6 -
confusion, I was able to serve them with an accepting non-judgmental atmosphere with a clear and rational path through
Christ. This truly allows us to assist them in gaining the skills, assets and attitudes they will need to reach their God-given
potential in life. If churches do not "modify the approaches they use to influence the faith development" of this group, teens
who grow up to be young adults who will be "the least churched generation."
The "Invisible Generation" of tomorrow, will live in a secular, materialistic, relativistic and self-absorbed culture.
Many will be the "third-generation un-churched." I have always felt led to give un-churched young adults a road map to help
them find their way in life, or someone else will. In addition, there is a good Chance that "someone else" will not lead kids
"in the way God wants for them to walk in."
I really have answered the call to want to be this "Invisible Generation" outpost of hope, encouragement and place where
they can come just as they do, not forced to conform who they are to fit into the structured church environment. The Person
of Christ, His Work and Words of Grace will internally transform their lives and teach them to deny all ungodliness. I honestly
believe that the Grace of God has the power to change lives and lifestyles no matter how dark or wayward. I have personally
experienced and found when individuals receive a personal encounter with Grace; love opens the hardest of Hearts. Grace produces
a radical inward transfiguration in life it encounters. I have just loved the way Christ has loved me and it has made a resounding
difference in my life personally. Grace has transcended to numerous lives who Christ has touch through my life. I have also
authored three books that I use to teach from and use as a guide to counsel with biblical premises regarding addiction and
crisis counseling. Recently, while working full time in the ministry and traveling abroad on mission’s trips with a
variety of diverse ministries because of long-term goals for lifetime service in the work of the ministry, eventually graduated
also with a Dual Bachelors of Church Ministries and Missions. I also am planning to take master level courses in the area
of counseling. I also recently because of my past work history and work verification of over 10000 documented hours by a medical
doctor who supervised my counseling and work with those with life challenging problems became a "Certified Mental Health Professional"
and received by the Florida Board of Certification.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSING, & ORDINATION
Certified Mental Health Professional, Certification # 50649 2007
FLORIDA BOARD OF CERTIFICATION
The Florida Certification Board provides certification for substance abuse counselors, prevention specialists, criminal
justice professionals, mental health professionals, and behavioral health technicians in Florida. FCB’s certification
process is to assure consumers, the public, and employers that individuals certified are capable and competent, have been
through a certain organized set of experiences, and have been judged to be qualified.
The Certified Mental Health Professional (CMHP) certification is designed to measure an individual’s competency in
performing the following job tasks. The job tasks are not presented in any particular order of importance.
1. Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients’ treatment.
2. Encourage clients to express their feelings, discuss what is happening in their lives, and help them to develop insight
into themselves and their relationships.
3. Guide clients in the development of skills and strategies for dealing with their problems.
4. Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.
5. Counsel clients and patients, individually and in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to
life, and making changes.
6. Collect information about clients through interviews, observations, and tests.
7. Act as the client’s advocate in order to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis
situations.
8. Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.
9. Collaborate with other staff members to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
10. Evaluate client’s physical or mental condition based on review of client information.
BIBLICAL LIFE COACHING 2000
Secular coaching is humanistic and relies on the client’s self-imposed goals. Christian coaching is Christ-centered.
Within Christian coaching, there is a three-way relationship between client, coach and Holy Spirit. Secular coaching involves
a two-way relationship - 8 -
between coach and client. With Biblical Life coaching the focus is not necessarily surrounding the Client’s desires
and problems; the primary focus is to receive a rational and relevant path with the Word of God. The Word of God is the only
Rational Path and solution to every problem which can remain objective throughout the tides of time.
BIBLICAL CRISIS INTERVENTIONIST 2000
An intervention orchestrates the attempt by one, or often many, people (usually concerned family and friends) and interventionists
to get someone to seek professional help with an addiction or some other life controlling problem. People sometimes engage
in self-destructive behavior, rejecting any assistance others may offer. Intervention, when done correctly, is extremely effective
in helping these people accept help. Long used for substance abuse (alcohol abuse, drug abuse) and addiction (alcoholism,
drug addiction), intervention is now also used for compulsive behaviors including gambling, sex addiction, computer addiction,
and eating disorders.

About : Teddy Awad
Present Ministry
My present ministry is Pastoral Biblical Counseling and as the operating Director of an international non-profit organization
that is that has several inner-city outreaches globally and locally. These inner-city outreaches are focused upon working
with the most un-reached and un-churched invisible generations of our time: postmodern Young Adults in Crisis. We operate
a National Young Adult Crisis Hotline and conduct private biblical counseling crisis interventions. This ministry was birthed
from a vision to go, reach, gather, and build un-Christian postmodern 18 to 28 year’s olds with the life changing Gospel
of Grace. I had a vision to reach the largest un-reached generation in the surrounding community and in the surrounding church
community. Relevant Biblical Teaching, discipleship, and counseling to the young adults for their Christian growth and encouraging
them to attend their local church were the emphasis of this particular ministry. This was initially and uniquely run from
out of our home’s basement. This Ministry started with eight individuals who were likeminded young adults who where
passionate to reach fellow post-modern young adults. This ministry grew to over six hundred young adults attending weekly
from various local churches and always open for those who were seekers or un-churched. A variety of individuals from these
initial meetings are serving full time in the ministry, graduating from various bible college, entering into the pastorate,
or are on the field as full time missionaries, working in church plant endeavors internationally, getting married and having
children, and walking Christ filled lives.
In the last nine months relocated to the Tampa Bay area, closed our house in Maryland, rented a small home here in St.
Petersburg, and immediately got involved in American mission field work. My daughter goes to a local Christian school, my
amazing wife volunteers there during the day to complement our vision of missions in the local area and a personal love of
children. Currently, we are developing a church launch proposal, strategy and plan after clear and evident call from God.
In the mean time we remaining committed to the Young Adult Crisis Hotline we developed. Every day we are involved with networking
and developing relationships with people to develop a core group.
Personal Vision
What is the vision that God has given you to accomplish in ministry? Or, if you knew you could not fail, what would you
do for the glory of God?
My Personal vision in life is to become more like Christ moment by moment. To live a yielded and Christ controlled life
as a living epistle that can be read and reproduced by unchristian and unreached masses in practically relevant ways to reach
them where they are in life. God has molded my vision through a a diverse variety of life experiences. These experiences have
molded me to have unique personal vision that will make an eternal mark. I want to do what no one else can do like I can.
I want to use the unique qualities that God built in me to reach those only I can reach. I honestly believe that whatever
I plan to do when it lines up with God’s Word and God's Will, will be successful. Success can be defines as finding
God’s will and Doing it. - 11 -
With all the statements above stated, I want to follow God’s Great commission to plant a unique church that will
be an outpost of Hope to this generation is Crisis. I believe that we should have churches for the un-churched which is over
125 million and unreached that have left the structured traditional church which consists of 86% of young adults. I believe
strongly that if these statistics suggest that the church is heading toward extinction. If churches do not "modify the approaches
they use to influence the faith development" of this group, teens who grow up to be young adults will be "the least churched
generation." And who should be doing the communicating? Well, the young people, of course that have been reproduced and taught
the amazing Gospel of Grace. The Gospel of Grace is so contagious when personally incarnated in an individual. Young Adults
are the best missionaries to their peers because they know the culture better than anyone. We must clear away the fog that
obscures the real truth-Jesus. If you don’t give Young Adults a road map to help them find their way through transitions
in life, someone else will. And there’s a good Chance that "someone else" won’t lead Young Adults "in the way
they should go" (Proverbs 22:6). We want to be this outpost of hope and encouragement to this "Invisible Generation". Providing
a safe place where individuals can come as they are and feel accepted. Hospitality and acceptance removes the barriers to
the Gospel. Not insisting people change who they are to fit into the structured church environment. Letting the Gospel of
Grace Do a radical inward work as they Come and See.
Whatever way this searching manifests it self - be it a reexamination of traditional beliefs, intentional religious education,
rejection of organized religion, or functional atheism - young adults needs to know that the Church is there for them even
though they may not be there for the Church. They need to know there is a place where they are welcome, where their doubts
and questions are welcome, where they can find the support and fellowship of their peers. This generation of Young Adult's
is one of the fastest growing groups in our community today.
I know that personal vision begins with God’s sovereign will to use anyone that He pleases. I know God’s called
me personally and I have followed His call since I heard the call in 1993 homeless and in a trash dumpster. God called me
to be a "pastor after his own heart" Jeremiah 3:15. I immediately went to Bible College and got trained for the work of the
ministry. I have never wavered from my call and have remained true to God’s will for my life since I was saved from
the gutter. This experience and new life has not been a bed of Roses nor without extreme personal trials of our faith as a
family and individually. I just appreciate what God has done for my life and could never repay him for the work he has done
for me personally. So I made up my mind to spend and be spent years ago. Even through tremendous trials, hardship, tremendous
physical pain and bed ridden for over a year, near death on numerous occasions, and much resistance we have never quit on
our call. We have a long term track record that has Glorified Christ, and confirms God’s faithfulness to His personal
Calling and not us.
Personal Passion
My Personal passion has been to serve Jesus Christ, my Family, His Church, my Community and around the world on five continents.
Preaching, teaching and empowering individuals to glorify Jesus Christ in a relevant and grace filled lives. My - 12 -
personal Vision in Life is a major contributing factor in how I live my daily life and relate to my family, and to the
lost and dying world.
I love to serve those who are hurting and love them just as they are where they are sitting. Therefore, assisting individuals
who have, because of godless irrational thinking made poor choices, to begin eventually think rationally again and maintain
long-term recovery from life controlling problems through Christly thinking that is rational through the Word’s of Life
in God’s Word. One of my main life objectives is to continue working with what I define as the most un-reached generation
of our time Young Adults. I have a heart for the lost and would always want to have the ability to reach them through various
methods of evangelism and personally honor the Great Commission everywhere from across the street to around the world in missions.
This is not only my life mission statement, I live and practice these statements with passion and zeal by God's Grace recover
when not faithful.
Clear Vision Capacity
Are you able to hear the will of God and communicate God's vision for the church to the people in such a way that the people
of the church take personal ownership in the vision?
What are some examples from your life that would illustrate how you have been able to conceptualize the vision for the
desired future and communicate that to people? (Examples can come from either ministry or secular experience)
Vision casting began in Bible College when I had to develop a team of individuals to start a Christian discipleship and
recovery home in the inner city of Baltimore. This process was a from scratch to developing the plan, exploring the local
laws, providing for the initial capital investment, securing loans with investors, setting up policies and procedures, manuals
of rules and regulations, and scheduling the team the times for 24 hour supervision and enrollment discipleship classes. Then
after the groundwork I had to fill and maintain the house attendance with recent graduates from surrounding short-term recovery
centers like the Salvation Army adult rehabilitation program. I also had to develop curriculum and progress notes for each
individual according to their particular life controlling problem. I also did a majority of the group and individual counseling
at the home. At the same time I was a full time bible college student with a full load of credits. I also assisted my wife
in planning a cross-cultural wedding for over three hundred guests from around the United States and the World.
Additional vision casting continues during my pastoral internship in 15 countries across African continent. My role for
my pastoral internship was work as assistant to the director of African missions department. I worked closely with vision
development and in the background daily assisting people follow the vision cast by the director. This vision development included
church planting proposals and interviews of qualified applicants, funding, and Bible College building programs, evangelism
crusades in cities and rural areas, and organizing Jesus film project work in remote villages by projector. Development of
vision for bible college student practicum’s, I also taught several courses on vision and development of vision in east
Africa that planted seven churches - 13 -
across Uganda, Kenya, and Southern Sudan. I also had to develop and implement vision for biblical relief work to the Southern
Sudan and gain the support and material to conduct a covert mission to a hostile area and plans cross mine fields and rebel
checkpoints alive with our team members. There are too many instances to list because of three years working on the African
mission field. Many can be provided upon request.
Development of vision casting continued when I returned home from the mission field and got ordained in 2000. I needed
to find a ministry to work with or develop my own ministry. This ministry was birthed from a vision to reach 18 to 28 year’s
olds. I had a vision to reach the largest un-reached generation in the surrounding community and in the surrounding church
community. Teaching, discipleship, and counseling to the young adults for their Christian growth and encouraging them to attend
their local church was the emphasis of this particular ministry. This was one of the finest ministries that I have ever started
that was uniquely run from out of our home’s basement that started with eight young adult and grew to six hundred young
adults after only a year. Attending weekly from various local churches and always open for those who were seekers or un-churched.
Another component was to establish a successful non-profit ministry that would serve the needs of young adults in crisis
through a national toll free hotline and local counseling center for at risk young adults in the Maryland and metro DC area.
This vision was cast and we also had to raise support for our international work connected to us in the Philippines. This
work is now fully funded and operational still until this day. We are working every day and are involved with thousands of
post-modern young adult’s lives each year through this ministry.
Clear calling by God
Knows that God has called them to this community to accomplish the Great Commission through people not to people.
Briefly tell us how you know that God has called you to start a new church and why do you think he has asked you to start
a new church.
I have been serving God for fifteen years in various forms of ministry and positions in churches. My number one passion
is to reach the lost and dying world with the Gospel of Grace. I love to help helpless and hurting people know God intimately
in their daily life. I believe God has called many people, few have obeyed. I do not want to presume why God has called me
personally. I know that I have been obedient to God’s will and call. I know I have an extended track record of working
with church plants overseas, worked in churches in a variety of positions, and have been faithful to the small things even
when it was not convenient. In America, to reach this culture and to fulfill the great commission planting churches are the
most effective means. New churches cause vision and births excitement because of the newness. Builds new leaders who have
not the opportunity to be used in their gifts and have them developed in church planting is the best place. Speaking from
experience of working on church planting teams it grows your gifts and develops your gifts you never thought you even had.
I personally want to - 14 -
start a church because God called me to the harvest field with particular uniqueness and can’t think of something
that I have started and not been successful at eventually. God Called and my friends who are Christian leaders have affirmed
the calling upon my life. - 15 -
Statement of Faith
Unabbreviated Statement of Faith with Biblical Verses Can Be provided when Necessary
I Believe -
All scripture contained in the Old and New Testaments is verbally, plenarily and inerrantly inspired by God. It is the
Authoritative guide for all Christian understanding, life and ministry.
There is one God who is eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Each
is infinite, eternal and almighty. Jesus, Christ, the Son, is fully God and perfectly man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the virgin, Mary and lived a sinless life. He died, shedding His literal blood as a vicarious atonement for sinners,
then was buried, arose from the grave, ascended into heaven and is now seated in His exalted position at the Father’s
right hand.
The Holy Spirit, who is Lord and Giver of Life, convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment; and unites man to
Jesus Christ by faith. The Holy Spirit indwells seals and fills all believers.
Man was created in the image and likeness of God. It was by man’s free volition that he disobeyed God, incurring
physical and spiritual death (separation from God). Each human being is born with a sin nature; therefore, each is a sinner
by nature and is in need of Divine Salvation.
Salvation is a free gift of God that was accomplished by Christ’s substitutionary death for
the sins of the world. All who believe in Christ are justified by His shed blood on their behalf. Because salvation is
given by grace, the believer’s salvation is eternally secure.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is sent upon all who believe in Jesus Christ at the moment of salvation. Continual filling
may follow. Each spiritual gift is given by the Holy Spirit for the edification of the Body of Christ.
The fulfillment of the Great Commission is the responsibility of all believers and churches today.
The church is the Body and Bride of Christ. It is dedicated to the worship and service of God and the observance of the
ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. The primary task of the Church in all ages is to teach all nations and
make disciples through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God, the Bible. It is God’s perfect will that all believers
seek fellowship and attend a local church where they receive instruction.
Christ may return at any moment for His Church. All believers will appear before Christ to be rewarded eternally for all
things that were done through His Grace. All unbelievers will be rewarded according to their deeds and all will be cast into
the eternal lake of fire because of their unrighteousness. After this, Christ will establish a New Heaven and a New Earth.
This is the consummation of all things.
